Edge of Control is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions (Section 12).
What we collect
EOC will, from time to time, receive and store personal information entered by a user or Member onto our website, provided to us directly or given to us in other forms. This includes your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and payment information. We collect this information for the purposes of assessing whether to provide you with our services, processing your entry or membership, contacting you if you win, and sending you order confirmations and draw updates.
How we use it
We use your personal information to process draw entries and memberships, assign ticket numbers, notify winners, send transactional communications, and where you have opted in, to send marketing communications about upcoming draws and EOC Club news. We will honour all unsubscribe requests within 5 business days in accordance with the Spam Act 2003.
Disclosure
EOC may disclose your personal information to employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in our Terms & Conditions. We may also disclose personal information to comply with a legal requirement, such as a court order, subpoena, warrant, or in response to a law enforcement agency request.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Your payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
International transfers
Information that EOC collects may from time to time be stored, processed in or transferred between parties located in countries outside of Australia, including in connection with our payment processing and email service providers.
Business transfers
If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, EOC reserves the right to transfer user databases, together with any personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under an agreement to maintain confidentiality.
